Some builds can use an internal receiver or a community-developed adapter. We check support for your exact combination, including any limits on rumble, memory functions or accessories. Cleaning can include disassembly, shell and button cleaning, dust removal from fans and heatsinks, and inspection of accessible contacts and battery compartments. The approach depends on the materials and condition of the hardware. Tell us about sticky controls, visible residue, corrosion or unusual noise. If inspection reveals damaged parts or a fault needing repair, we discuss that work separately. Cleaning alone is not a diagnosis for shutdowns or overheating.

We inspect airflow and cooling components, then recommend the work the system actually needs. That may include fan or heatsink cleaning, a replacement fan, or renewal of thermal paste or pads with the correct materials and thickness. Systems that use liquid metal need a different service approach; we assess those individually. Include the symptoms, how long the console runs before the issue appears and any previous thermal work. The goal is reliable operation, with testing after service.

We can assess shell replacement, worn button or lens replacement, and careful cosmetic restoration. For yellowed plastic, we discuss whether cleaning, controlled de-yellowing or replacement is appropriate. Results depend on the material and condition, and color changes may return over time. If a repair is not practical, we will discuss that with you rather than assume a replacement part will solve the issue.

A loose or damaged port can require precision soldering and work on nearby pads, traces or components. We assess the connector and related circuitry before deciding whether a port replacement will fix the problem. Tell us whether the fault followed an impact, cable damage or liquid exposure, and include a clear photo if possible. The quote depends on the connector, the board condition and any additional repair required.

We assess power and charging circuits, suspect capacitors, damaged traces and other board-level faults. Work may include targeted component replacement, recapping where appropriate, corrosion treatment and repair of previous soldering damage. A full recap is not the right answer to every problem. We identify the scope and suitable parts first, explain any limits imposed by board damage or parts availability, and test the hardware after repair.

Repairs depend on the fault and available parts; some drives have electronics paired to the console that must be retained. Where supported, save data can be backed up before battery work.
