Storage upgrades & migration

Expand your setup with compatible SSD, hard-drive or memory-card storage, with formatting and migration planned around your system.

We review the supported storage interface, capacity, cooling and formatting requirements before selecting parts. Options range from memory-card and internal drive upgrades to supported expansion storage on newer consoles. Migration is planned around your existing files and the system's transfer tools. Some internal drives and data are tied to the original hardware or account, so a larger drive is not always a direct swap. Battery and charging work has its own listing below.

What happens next

  1. Tell Texas Board Works your hardware model, its condition and the result you want. For homebrew or modding, include the firmware version and any existing modifications.
  2. Confirm the proposed work, price and shipping instructions before sending your hardware.
  3. Create a Texas Board Works account when submitting your repair to track your device and communicate with the repair team.
