Optical drive emulators

Explore an optical drive emulator (ODE) to load compatible software from modern storage and reduce reliance on aging disc mechanisms.

An optical drive emulator works in place of, or alongside, an original disc drive, depending on the design. We assess the board revision, supported media and whether you want to retain physical-disc use. Terraonion is among the brands available for compatible projects. The service can include installation, storage preparation, firmware configuration and functional testing. Tell us the console revision if known, the condition of its current drive and how you want to use the finished setup.
